Boost FUNdamentals of Fast Freestyle Levels 1 and 2
Level 1: These 3.5 hour clinics are designed to improve the freestyle swimming ability of beginner, intermediate and advanced athletes. Boost Swimming's founder, Jeff Pearson, will be the lead coach for the day. Participants will be introduced to the Principles of Boost Freestyle methodology and learn the same principles employed by the world's best swimmers and triathletes. We will use video analysis of world class athletes to teach the fundamentals of swimming’s most widely used stroke and make swimming more efficient and fun. The day will consist of a combination of classroom time and pool sessions.
Level 2: This two hour clinic is designed to improve the freestyle swimming ability of beginner, intermediate and advanced athletes who have completed our level 1 clinic (required). We will be taking a deeper dive into our Fundamentals of Boost Freestyle and covering the more sophisticated elements of the freestyle stroke. This clinic is designed to take athletes that have completed our level 1 clinic to the next level.
Topics include: Review of our level 1 curriculum Finding your optimum stroke length and stroke rate Hand speed vs. hip velocity Developing "feel" and more!
As part of both our level 1 and level 2 clinic, each athlete will have the option of receiving an underwater video analysis of their stroke (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED).
Cost: Level 1: $229 with video analysis, $179 without video analysis Level 2: $149 with video analysis, $99 without video analysis *Yes, you have the option of completing both level one and two on the same day.
These three hour clinics will teach you the essential techniques used by the world's best open water and triathlon swimmers. This clinic will be led by Boost Swimming Head Coach and two time USA National Open Water Champion, Jeff Pearson.
Topics include open water adaptation, warm-ups, sighting, navigation, buoy turns, drafting, starts, and finishes. There will be two instructional sessions on the beach and two in water sessions, each lasting about 45 minutes. Swimmers have the option of receiving an underwater video analysis of their stroke (see an example HERE). Athletes will walk away from the day with the skill set necessary to compete without anxiety and PR their next swim.

Requirements: Swimmers should be able to swim 400 meters continuously in open water to have a productive workout experience.
What to Bring: Wetsuits and neoprene caps highly recommended.
Cost: $189 with underwater video analysis (highly recommended, SEE EXAMPLE) $139 without underwater video analysis
These 1.5 hour workouts will enhance your open water skills, improve endurance and build open water confidence. Whether you are competing in an Ironman, training for your first triathlon, or are just an open water swimming enthusiast, these clinics can help you improve. Athletes of all abilities are sure to vastly improve their open water swimming abilities with consistent attendance.

This four week (one day per week) clinic is designed for summer league swimmers of all abilities ages 8 and up. All four competitive strokes as well as starts and turns will be covered using a combination of classroom and pool sessions. While in the classroom, we will be utilizing video analysis of world class swimmers as well as a discussion of the most cutting edge techniques. We will take that knowledge to the pool and begin the practical learning using our targeted drill progressions. After each session, swimmers will have a much better understanding of the techniques they need to make the most of their summer league season.

Clinic Dates and Times: The clinic will be held on Tuesday nights for four weeks beginning March 19th, 2019. Intermediate group* 4:00 - 5:15 pm Advanced group* 5:30 - 7:00 pm * If you are unsure where your swimmers should be, most athletes ages 8-12 will fit into the intermediate category. Price: $160 for all four clinics $40 for each single day clinic
Registration: You have the option of registering for a single date or all four clinics. Registration for all four dates is open now. Registration for a single clinic opens on March 7th if space allows. Space is limited to 25 athletes per clinic day/ group.
