I have joined both the open-water workouts and taken a private lesson from Jeff. Both are well-worth the cost. My open-water skills were barely above drowning level when I started, and Jeff really fixed up my stroke. I am now confident in taking on my first triathlon next week. I recently had the pleasure of attending your swim clinic held in Angels Camp, CA. Your method of teaching is very approachable; your analogies and dry land demonstrations were easy to understand; and you provided us with effective dry land and pool drills. Particularly useful was the stroke video analysis and follow-up. Boy, what an eye opener that was.Having been a swimmer all my life and a triathlete for the last 30 years, I can honestly say that “a (moving) picture is worth a thousand words”! While my overall fitness is pretty good, I was able to actually see how several of my lifelong ingrained habits were actually working against me. I have reviewed my video over and over. Thanks Boost Swimming finished the swim in 33:38 which is 2 minutes quicker than I have been doing at the Tuesday time trial! Swimming with 1000 people is interesting and you certainly get a good draft although getting on the racing line is tricky! Thank you so much, it was definitely a challenging course with so many variables that seemed to take people down all day. I had to dig deep on the bike and the swim actually ended up being our favorite leg. We stayed together the entire swim. Got punched with a few elbows, someone actually grabbed my leg and pulled me under and after the first buoy we were lead off course cause we couldnt see... bummer....but glad we made it and happy this is over! We absolutely could not have done this without your support and coaching. Now if we can refine our swim by 10-15 minutes we will be stoked! Madona C - AG Triathlete
